How Janet (aka The Saucy African) and James turned a love of food into a bold, joyful brand

Meet Janet, better known as The Saucy African. What started as her way of bringing bold, soulful flavors into her home kitchen (and into James’ heart) soon became something bigger: a shared dream to put African flavor where it belongs, in pantries everywhere.

With Janet’s spice intuition and James’ brand-savvy brain, the two co-founded The Saucy African to bottle the joy, connection, and richness of African cooking.
