Chicken Biryani made with Safari Simmer blends marinated chicken, basmati rice, and aromatic spices, enhanced by the rich flavors of Safari Simmer Tomato Stew for a convenient, flavorful twist on the classic dish.

Ingredients
  

  • 1/2-1 cup Onion
  • 2 tbsp Ginger garlic paste
  • 600 g Chicken
  • 1/2 jar Safari simmer tomato stew
  • 1 cup Yogurt
  • 4 tbsp Biryani masala
  • 3 pieces Green chillies
  • 3 tbsp Coriander chopped
  • 3 tbsp Mint leaves chopped
  • 5 cups Boiled rice
  • 1/2 Oil Oil –
  • 2 Sliced Lemon
  • Orange Food colour as required

Instructions
 

  • Heat oil in a large pan over medium heat. Add sliced onions and sauté until golden brown.
  • Stir in ginger-garlic paste and cook for a minute.
  • Add the chicken pieces and cook until they turn white and release their juices.
  • Mix in the Safari Simmer Tomato Stew and let it cook for 2-3 minutes.
  • Add yogurt and biryani masala, ensuring the chicken is well coated. Allow it to simmer until the chicken is tender and the gravy thickens.
  • Fold in whole green chilies, chopped coriander, and mint leaves, and cook for an additional 2 minutes.
  • In a large pot, create a base layer with half the chicken mixture, followed by a layer of boiled rice.
  • Add lemon slices, mint leaves, and coriander.
  • Top with the remaining chicken mixture, then cover with the rest of the boiled rice.
  • Enjoy the aromatic layers of flavor!
